Liz Knowles and Kieran O'Hare
Uilleann Pipes and Fiddle
Liz Knowles and Kieran O'Hare play fiddle and uilleann pipes as well as any duo in the world of Irish traditional music. Without bouzouki ace Pat Broaders, their partner in the trio Open the Door for Three, listeners will get an even better appreciation for the pair's peerless instrumental virtuosity and seamless duet playing. Liz, originally from Kentucky, has had a stellar career that includes work with Riverdance on Broadway and the Martin Hayes Quartet. Kieran, a Kansas native, is a performer, producer and artistic director as well as a top piper. His work has taken him to Broadway, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and the Folies Bergères, among other venues.
